Beauty Review: Dessange California Blonde Hair Treatment

Blondes always have more fun, thats just a fact. But I was so happy to be able to try Dessange's new California Blonde Hair Treatment for the 30 day hair challenge. The challenge was to see the difference with California Blonde products to regular drugstore products I normally use. The thing is I've been platinum blonde for three years now, and I love it. I've been super white blonde to now a warmer more honey blonde. I've also tried every single product for blondes so now I know exactly what I look for and what I need in the products to help restore my hair in between salon time.

When you first dye your hair platinum it takes a lot out of it, my ends broke easier, hair was falling out and I had to be really careful when wearing ponytails so I wouldn't create more damage and breakage. I tried a lot of products that my hair dresser recommended and some I've found at the drugstore but here is my review on Dessange's new California Blonde.

The Brass Color Correcting Creme is really important to me. When you first go to the hair dressers they take out all brassiness that I hate! It helps that after three weeks of being at the salon I know I can keep my color the right shade of blonde with this product. The pigment of the blue creme is really blue! I love that. The squeeze bottle allows you to choose the amount you need for your blonde. If you are more white blonde I would use more than a blonde who highlights. The longer you leave it in your hair the more work it does. I sometimes squeeze the Correcting Creme into my shampoo and mix the two together so it's not as harsh. The wash out allows it to take out all unwanted brass in your hair. Perfect!

The Illuminating shampoo and conditioner smells SO good! I actually haven't had a shampoo in a
long time that has that lovely smell. Always makes you want to use more.

The Illuminating Elixir is actually one of my favs. I use a dollop of this creme to my ends of my hair to maintain strength and shine. I apply this to my hair when it's wet so as I blow dry it will fuse together. Really makes your end shiny and helps to strength against breakage. I will definitely look forward to purchasing more of this in the future.

The best part of these products is that you can buy them at Shoppers Drug Mart and London Drugs. When I was first given these products I assumed they were exclusive to salons but I'm happy that these great products are available in drug stores. For those blondes that need help in between salon appointments that won't break the bank, this is for you.
