For those of you who don't know, I work full-time for a online jewelry company so it's just natural for me to always be working and trying different looks with my baubles. We have come up with three looks on O+P on how to wear the perfect jewels in your hair and it is oh so easy! Seriously!
For this first look we called it The Knotted Crown. Simply braid the sides of your hair and twist it together. The messier it becomes the better! Add any sparkly piece of jewelry, this one is a collar necklace (nothing too long) and use bobby pins to keep it secure underneath the braid. We tucked the ends of the necklace underneath so you wouldn't be able to see it. Voila!
For this look we decided to do an easy, straight-forward Cuffed Chignon and add in our knotted cuff bracelet for the finished look. A chignon is low bun that you simply twist and put in a ponytail and then twist again upwards. Once it is secured with a bobby pin, we added the cuff on top. This look is chic and easy to do, especially in a rush!
Our last look we put together was The Side Braid with a little razzle dazzle. This look is playful and sweet and if we haven't said it enough, easy! Pick a necklace or bracelet with links/loops that can fit securely and intertwine in the hair. Add in the necklace as you are making the braid and secure with bobby pins. You come out with a look that is eye-catching and special.
